How you'll make an impact:

As the Manager of Branded Entertainment, your role is to help drive the development, packaging strategy, creation of sales materials and go-to-market strategy for SiriusXM Media's sponsorship programs, with an emphasis on live events. This pop-culture obsessed marketer will brainstorm partnership opportunities to attract the biggest brand advertisers in the world; with programs spanning concerts with top tier talent, sports, and live events with popular podcasts (i.e. Unwell/Call Her Daddy, SmartLess, Crime Junkie, Its Me Tinx, etc.)

In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams such as Experiential Marketing, Sales Development, Talent, Programming, Brand Marketing, Social, Revenue Partnerships, and Legal to identify & build opportunities that leverage SiriusXM's compelling content offerings, drive higher investment levels from advertisers, engage consumers, and drive measurable results for both SiriusXM & our clients.

Reporting into the VP of Branded Entertainment, you will also act as the control tower for the Branded Entertainment team - creating compelling sales materials, updating internal tracking/reporting systems, maintaining process documents, and ensuring resources & information for the sales team is easy to access and up to date.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with Branded Entertainment Directors to develop sponsorship packaging & pricing for SiriusXM Media partnership programs (across Pandora, SiriusXM, and podcasts)
  • Develop creative ideas for sponsorable onsite activations that not only meet marketers' objectives, but enhance the fan experience and add value
  • Lead the creation of Sales Materials for marketing programs and sponsorship packages, including client facing event narratives/decks, one sheets, sizzles,and more
  • Join working group meetings with cross-functional teams to vet feasibility of concepts, create workback schedules, and remain engaged with the program throughout its life cycle
  • Maintain ongoing ownership of the pitch pipeline throughout the sales cycle, collaborating with the Sales Development team to brainstorm & customize pitches to meet individual client KPIs
    • Maintain a pulse on sales pipeline and modify packaging as needed in real-time based on sales/client feedback
    • Keep internal teams and Sales leadership informed of pitch activity
  • Once programs have been sold, collaborate with the Brand Partnerships team to on execution, helping ensure programs maintain executional excellence and creative resonates with consumers
  • Attend select events & assist with onsite execution to garner learnings to that will inform future packaging
  • Compile feedback and host post-mortem meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure learnings are applied to other programs
  • Develop wrap decks & reporting materials
  • Update and maintain Monday.com tracking systems, event one sheets, team shared drives, and Sales resources

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience at a publisher, brand, or agency working on marketing programs and/or partnerships
    • Previous roles in pre-sale ideation/integrated marketing a plus
  • An articulate professional with excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Exceptional PowerPoint & design skills, with robust experience building client facing sales narratives & pitch decks
  • Socially savvy and extremely creative, with the desire to come up with innovative new event & activation ideas
  • Proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to learn & excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships with partners from different departments
  • Highly organized & detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • A problem solver with developed conflict resolution skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and adapt in the face of ever-changing projects
  • Passionate about music, podcasts, live events, and pop culture!
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $97,000.00 to $117,175.00 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
