The Undersea Technology Analysis Group (UTAG), within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging undersea technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea and naval special warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements (OPNAV N97), acquisition (program offices for undersea technologies and naval special warfare), and science and technology (Office of Naval Research, DARPA) Our enduring capabilities include:

SPA is seeking a mid-level management analyst to support Naval Expeditionary Programs (PMS 408) with their portfolio. Responsibilities Job duties will include working closely with a government program manager on efforts supporting the acquisition, delivery, and sustainment of Naval Expeditionary systems. The analyst will collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government; present their findings in written products or briefings; and monitor milestones (such as cost, schedule, and technical risk) for PMS 408 programs. The analyst will work with different stakeholders across the Naval Expeditionary community and adjacent communities (including operators, technology developers, other program offices, and resource sponsors) to integrate their perspectives and priorities into PMS 408's efforts. The analyst will assist the government in preparing materials for program reviews, budget submissions, white papers, analyses, and acquisition documentation. Qualifications Required Qualifications: This is a full-time in-office position in Alexandria, VA. The candidate will also periodically travel to the Washington Navy Yard for client support The candidate must possess and be capable of maintaining a SECRET security clearance The candidate should possess at least 3 years of relevant experience, such as program support, engineering, operations research, financial/cost analysis, or other experience working with DoD programs or operations Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field 7 years of relevant experience Experience with Navy or other DoD expeditionary programs, such as Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), counter-UAS, anti-terrorism/force protection, and expeditionary medicine |
