Position Overview The NumberShire Team at University of Minnesota (UMN) seeks a candidate to fill a joint Research Coordinator position. The coordinator will be employed at .50 time to support the work of the NumberShire project in Kentucky. The current NumberShire project: The primary aim of this multi-year randomized controlled trial is to assess the efficacy of the NumberShire Level K gaming intervention for improving math outcomes of students with or at risk for mathematics learning disabilities. The Research Coordinator will assist the PI team to ensure successful completion of the project, including coordinating project activities in Kentucky, recruiting participants, collecting/managing data, and supporting the NumberShire Team at UMN to execute detailed research activities. The Research Coordinator will be a 12-month employee of the University of Minnesota. The Research Coordinator will work closely with and be primarily supervised by Dr. Sam Choo in the Department of Educational Psychology. Initial appointment will be 1 year (2025-26), with an option for up to two additional years (2026-2028) based on performance and continued availability of funding. This position is in-person at partner sites in Kentucky. Per UMN policy, work may be done remotely when appropriate and approved by your manager. Pay Range: The salary range for this position is $30,000 - $34,000. Final salary offers are dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity within the department.
