Senior Strategy Lead

Overview:

The Senior Strategy Lead will be part of the Market Strategy group within the Strategic Marketing & Product Management (SM&P) organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive market strategies to drive growth and enhance market positioning in the Food, Health & Nutrition industries. The Senior Market Strategy Lead will leverage market insights, competitive analysis, and customer trends to manage the Strategy Management Process (SMP) and develop innovative strategies that align with the Food, Health and Nutrition Division business objectives and contribute to sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic market plans that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer segments and personas through data-driven insights and market segmentation strategies.
  • Collaborate with SM&P teams including marketing, sales, business development, product development, and finance to ensure alignment of market strategies with overall business goals through the SMP planning and implementation.
  • Define and communicate clear value propositions, messaging strategies, and positioning for products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze market performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of Food, Health & Nutrition industries trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to proactively adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members involved in market analysis and strategy development.
  • Present strategic recommendations, findings, and progress updates to Head of Market Strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, market research, or business strategy roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful market strategies that resulted in measurable business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Proficiency in market research tools, data analysis software, and CRM platforms.
  • Strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach to identifying market opportunities and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Strategic Marketing, Market Research, or related field.
  • Experience in a senior leadership role within Food, Health and Nutrition industries.
