Talent Acquisition Team Lead - Recruiting

SUMMARY:

Responsible for leading the team members responsible for recruiting or sourcing process for a group of internal or external clients. Provides advanced professional assistance to talent acquisition team, hiring managers and leaders to fill jobs in client locations and/or Pace business units.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Leads staff including hiring, training, development and engagement of self and team members.
  • Performs the most complex or challenging recruitments; communicates, coordinates, and evaluates results.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with schools, alumni groups, and other industry specific organizations. Attends events to represent Pace and source candidates which may include participating in career fairs, panel discussions or giving speeches.
  • Provides input and counsel regarding the development and alignment of services and programs to ensure service delivery for internal and external clients for division.
  • Develops recruiting materials and brochures highlighting Pace. Works with other internal teams, such as marketing, as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate standards, regulations and policies regarding search and selection practices and activities.
  • Provides observations and recommendations to leadership for improvement of the division's policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Facilitates communication on customer needs and business requirements; establishes and monitors adherence to performance metrics.
  • Resolves escalated, technical or complex operational issues or conflicts; ensures successful resolution.
  • Maintains currency of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws.
  • Works closely with the Manager -- Talent Acquisition on planning, strategic initiatives, budgeting, expenses, team workload and metrics.
  • Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
  • Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
  • Hybrid working at our Roseville headquarters 3 days per week.
  • Some travel may be required.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in human resources administration, or a closely related field; AND four (4) years of experience in recruiting and sourcing; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Principles, practices and techniques of recruitment and selection.
  • Administrative principles and practices, program development, and the leading of employees.
  • Principles and practices of developing teams, motivating employees, and managing in a team environment.
  • Applicable employment laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work. Experience with Workday preferred.
  • Records management principles and practices.
  • Techniques for working collaboratively with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Principles and techniques of providing effective oral presentations.
  • Principles and practices of program planning, development, and evaluation.
  • Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Preparing functional reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Using initiative and independent judgment within established organizational and department guidelines.
  • Using tact, discretion, and prudence in working with those contacted in the course of the work.
  • Performing effective oral presentations to large and small groups across functional peers and the department.
  • Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives, and activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of individuals contacted in the course of the work.
