Position Purpose
Provides daily professional administrative, clerical, and project coordination support. Maintains area files, correspondence, reports, and other documentation. Coordinates, completes, and delivers required reporting. Tasks are varied and usually require area specific knowledge to complete work. Description

What you'll do

  • Types, edits, formats, reviews, and updates forms, correspondence and reports.

  • Maintains area files and binders. Maintains area organizational charts, job descriptions, contact and mailing lists, desk procedures, and interoffice tracking logs. Maintains area specific reports or presentations.

  • Provides general clerical duties and administrative support including ordering supplies, coordinating meeting functions, arranging travel, maintaining calendars, and phone coverage for upper management.

  • Special projects as assigned.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office environment. Work may require transporting or moving materials.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:

Required Education:

  • Associate's degree.

Degree Equivalency:

  • 2 years of job-related work experience or a combination of education and experience equal to 2 years for a total of 7 years of required work experience (see "required work experience").

Required Work Experience:

  • 5 years administrative support experience.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills (grammar, letter writing and phone skills).

  • Organizational skills.

  • Customer service skills.

  • Good judgment.

  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

  • Ability to multi-task.

Required Software and Tools:

  • Microsoft Office.

We Prefer That You Have:

  • Knowledge of Commercial Application Systems area goals and objectives.

  • Analytical or critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to persuade, negotiate or influence.

  • Procurement experience.

  • Purchasing requisitions and coordinating travel requests to seminars and conferences.

  • Experience with ODP and Dove Technologies Order Request.

  • Experience with supporting a department of 200 people over a few departments (application development, business systems analyst, design departments).

  • Canva software experience.
