Staffmark is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a dynamic role in Rancho Cordova, CA. Salary $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 Responsibilities: Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Lead daily quality control operations, manage the team, and monitor quality standards across production. Oversee inspection, testing, and validation of raw materials, components, and finished products. Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and improve process efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, supply chain, customer service) to resolve quality concerns. Maintain quality documentation and provide regular performance updates to management. Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and best practices. Required Experience and Skills: 1-3 years of quality assurance experience, preferably within the plastics industry or a high-volume manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing quality assurance teams. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, MATLAB). Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards and auditing processes.
