Description The Manager of Finance will oversee theorganization's finance and accounting functions and serve as a key member of the leadership team at Liberty Paper, a subsidiary of Liberty Diversified International (LDI). This full-time position reports to the Chief Financial Officer of LDI and is located in Becker, Minnesota. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to identify, develop, and implement operational business plans, monitor key metrics, and assist department and area decision-making.
- Build financial plans and models, including forecasts, annual budgets, strategic plan financials, and capital plans, ensuring alignment with Liberty Paper's and LDI's strategies to balance long-term needs with short-term priorities to drive growth and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Effectively communicate the progress of financial strategies throughout the organization, including tracking key metrics, partnering with the Liberty Paper Leadership team to communicate to LDI Executive Leadership, and creating opportunities for employees to understand how their roles contribute and fit within the strategy.
- Participate in departmental strategic planning to ensure that the developed goals align with the organization's goals and contribute to market growth, revenue enhancement, cost containment, etc.
- Develop solutions to improve and optimize current business processes. Establish and maintain effective internal controls for Liberty Paper.
- Advise the Leadership Team monthly on financial status against budget and forecast key performance metrics, identify risks associated with achieving targeted objectives, and assist the Leadership Team in identifying countermeasures to achieve desired results
- Oversee all aspects of Liberty Paper's financial operations, including general ledger activities, cost accounting/inventory management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial planning, and financial reporting. Ensure controls are in place and records are maintained to comply with generally accepted accounting principles and LDI corporate policy.
- Build and proactively develop high-performing Finance capable of delivering on both Liberty Paper's and LDI's short- and long-term strategies.
- Manage employee performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against goals, providing timely feedback, and promptly and professionally addressing performance challenges.
- Foster a culture that promotes innovation, customer focus, and exceptional service while driving individual accountability and integrity.
- Continuously seek cost reduction opportunities and identify productivity and process improvement areas.
- Ensure the company operates in strict compliance with federal/state regulations and requirements as well as corporate policies.
- Actively collaborate with other departments to improve effectiveness, efficiency, data reporting quality, and service delivery.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in using business Intelligence software(s)
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products including (Excel, PowerPoint, and Office)
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Results-driven. Able to translate the vision of the organization into actionable plans. Can build organizational capability to support these objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving and risk analysis competencies.
- High level of initiative and motivation.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written). Ability to share technical ideas and concepts with public and non-technical personnel.

- Master's Degree or MBA
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA),
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The starting base salary range for this position is $114,395 - $142,994 per year. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses.
