This is an exceptionally diverse role that entails collaboration with Advisors, Wealth and Insurance Strategists, Legal, Engineering, Risk, Compliance & cross Operational groups.

You will be expected to work in a team of professionals and be able to be commercial, critical & creative whilst ensuring the highest level of risk management. In this role you will manage insurance operational processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency. You'll lead initiatives to streamline workflows, elevate advisor experience, and promote a culture of innovation.

How you will fulfill your potential



  • Tactical & Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute short-term goals and long-term operational strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals.
  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment in product delivery and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional partners, including engineering and business personnel on matters related to insurance new business and policy servicing
  • Establish and drive transformational strategy to uplift service standards, improve workflows & manage reporting to measure and monitor risk and provide a differentiated service experience
  • Engage and collaborate with Operations leadership to ensure appropriate team oversight on high risk functions, strategic initiatives, and daily volumes
  • Partner with Wealth and Insurance Strategist to assist clients in the application and ongoing servicing of insurance policies
  • Develop strategies and opportunities for process efficiencies to reduce manual tasks while increasing control in a rapidly growing business



Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience

* 6+ years of work experience in a professional office environment preferred
* Prior experience in insurance operations is a plus

* Proficient to advanced skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong customer service skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational skills

* Self-starting ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently

* Experience handling confidential and sensitive business matters and information with discretion

* Life, Accident and Health Insurance license preferred

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $80000-$185000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
