POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, National Accounts will have responsibility for ensuring access and growth of MIMEDX products by working directly within designated national and regional customers including but not limited to federal /government, group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and integrated delivery networks (IDNs). This position will develop and manage strategic relationships with these entities including negotiation, management and implementation of contracts. Responsible for developing growth strategies and coordinating implementation of key initiatives within designated customers to support company objectives and maximize revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Serve as primary interface for MIMEDX within designated national and regional Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) business partners. Responsible for developing specific business strategy to be implemented within designated GPO partners to insure good standing and maximization of contract revenue
  • Manage and develop strategic relationships within designated Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) partners to achieve GPO and IDN contract pull through. Responsible for developing specific business strategy to be implemented within designated IDN's and maximize contract revenue.
  • Manage direct reports (Strategic Contract Managers) SCMs. Provide guidance and clear direction to SCMs with focus on mentoring and developing SCM skill set
  • Collaboratively work with the field sales leadership team to develop and implement strategies that will maximize MIMEDX contracts and achieve the overall company business objectives
  • Monitor market trends and communicate key developments to appropriate MIMEDX team members. Develop strategies to insure actions are implemented to appropriately react to changing market and customer needs


        EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:



        • BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred
        • 15+ years in healthcare device/pharma field sales with track record of increasing responsibility
        • 10+ years of IDN/national account sales experience
        • People management experience preferred


        SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:



        • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skill
        • Ability to establish and maintain executive relationships in health systems
        • Ability to influence others to achieve desired results using tenacity, diplomacy, and strong presentation skills
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
        • Organized, flexible, and able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail
        • Strong analytical skills, clinical interests, strategic and technical analysis and problem solving skills
        • Excellent negotiation and assessment skills






          WORK ENVIRONMENT:

          This is a field based position with travel expectations of 50-75%
