DCS is seeking a proactive executive assistant to support a fast-paced Army Project Manager Office. As an Executive Assistant for our Ft. Belvoir VA, based customer, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including managing phones, reviewing documents, welcoming visitors, scheduling appointments, planning meetings, making travel arrangements, and executing operational tasks. This is a full-time, onsite position. Essential Job Functions: Manage senior leader calendars by scheduling and synchronizing appointments in Microsoft Outlook and Teams and coordinating special events. Prepare Defense Travel System authorizations and process vouchers. Review documents to ensure memorandums comply with AR 25-50 Preparing and Managing Correspondence. Process Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) / Defense Security Service (DSS) request when coordinating classified engagements and receive and screen in-person visitors and telephone calls. Provide information in support of the plans, integration, and operations mission. Develop administrative and management policies and directives for issuance to staff organizations to ensure implementation of the decisions, plans, and other actions, and assist with on/off boarding of personnel. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. High school and 10, Associates and 5, or Bachelors and 3 years of related experience. Secret level clearance is required. Proven work experience as an administrative assistant or executive administrative assistant. Hands on experience with Microsoft Office, with demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Excellent written and oral communications skills and strong organizational and time management skills. Desired Skills: Experience with the Defense Travel System. Military service and/or administrative experience within the Department of Defense working at O6/O5 Level. |
