Assists patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and ensures the patient has a safe, organized environment. Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician. Supports the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties. The ideal candidate is someone who is team oriented and thrives in a collaborative work environment. This department is fast paced with higher acuity stepdown and telemetry patients. You will need to be able to communicate effectively and be able to critically think on the spot if there are vital signs that are abnormal. You will encounter frequent communication with nurses on the floor as you will be working with 3-4 nurses at a time, servicing up to 9 patients during a 12-hour shift. This team focuses on the overall patient experience and are unique in having 36 private beds on the unit. #LI-KL1 Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: One year of recent experience working under the license of a licensed healthcare provider OR current enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant training from a recognized school OR current enrollment in an RN program with completion of the second semester, including nursing fundamentals Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English Excellent interpersonal skills with a service aptitude American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: CNA certification Multiple patient skills One year acute care experience Job : Clinical Support Primary Location : Northern San Diego County-ENCINITAS-SCRIPPS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ENCINITAS Work Locations : SCRIPPS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ENCINITAS 354 SANTA FE DRIVE ENCINITAS 92024 Organization : Scripps Encinitas Hospital Job Posting : Mar 4, 2025, 3:59:19 PM Benefit Status : PT - PART-TIME WITH BENEFITS Minimum Rate (USD) : 24.46 - Maximum Rate (USD) : 29.84 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs.
