About the Position...

The Loan Service Specialist I is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.

The Loan Service Specialist I is responsible for providing efficient and professional services to internal and external clients consistent with regulatory compliance and policies and procedures. The summary of responsibilities include processing loan payments (advances and pay downs), following up on loan documentation, assisting with loan boarding, assisting with loan maintenance, processing letter of credit transactions, monitoring interest reserves, monitoring ticklers system, monitoring loan participations, loan billing, and interest rate changes. The Loan Service Specialist I is also responsible for answering client calls and email requests promptly, courteously efficiently and professionally. This position will perform all duties accurately, timely and efficiently and according to Bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. The incumbent is also responsible for aiding the Loan Service Supervisor and the Loan Service Manager with additional assignments and/or projects as needed. This position will perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

About You...

You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:

Education/Certification: High school graduate, college degree preferred.

Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Loan Services and standard banking practices.

Experience Required: One or more years in Loan Operations or General Office experience.

Skills/Abilities:



  • Good communication skills.
  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software package.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer, adding machine, copy machine, fax machine, and telephone.
