Application Window Open date: March 3, 2025 Next review date: Wednesday, Apr 2, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Sep 3, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Level Professor in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking fellowship-trained clinicians in the field of Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. Microvascular reconstruction is preferred but not essential for this position. UCSF has a history of strong clinical productivity, innovative research, and collegial multidisciplinary care. The Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Mission Bay Campus provides an outstanding place for surgical, inpatient, and outpatient management, and we are continuing to expand within the Bay Area. Our clinical team continues to grow, and we are looking for a collaborative, thoughtful, and energetic colleague who values education, patient care, and research. Surgeons at all levels (Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) are invited to apply. We are recruiting a fellowship trained Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon at either the Instructor Level in the Adjunct or HS Clinical series or at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor Level in the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In-Residence series. Clinical research and dedication to education are prerequisites. The individual will have the opportunity to participate in both resident and fellow education. Locations may include the Mission Bay, Mount Zion, or Parnassus campuses at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as possible clinic time at satellite offices. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $130,200 - $393,200.
