What Is My Purpose? Responsible for supporting Actuarial Management The Key Responsibilities:
- The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
- Support and analyze activities related to the Direct Pay, Local Group and National Accounts Market Segment and all lines of business
- Maintenance and improvement of Actuarial analyses such as trend setting, gross margin reporting, and financial forecasting
- Rate analysis and development
- Actuarial representation on cross-functional workgroups as an active participant
- Forecast/variance analysis and reporting
- Product development support
- Segmentation support
What Is REQUIRED:
- 4+ years related, successful, progressive professional work experience.
- Related Bachelor's degree required Math/Statistics or related degree
- Current and active Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Ability to communicate and present detailed business and financial information in a clear and concise way to all levels of management
What Is Preferred:
- Background in health field or insurance field
- SAS and/or SQL experience
- Familiarity with programming languages PC software (spreadsheets, graphics, word processors)
- Independently managing projects and/or people
General Physical Demands: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $106,600 - $133,300 Annualized Salary Range: $106,600 - $173,300
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
