Site Reliability Eng IV - Remote

Overview

The Site Reliability Eng IV builds and maintains a cloud-based and on-prem based fully automated system for software delivery from development to deployment.

Responsibility

1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters in AWS and on VMWare infrastructure.

2. Proficiency designing, building, supporting, and maintaining infrastructure application that run on a Kubernetes platforms.

3. Knowledge and experience with infrastructure as code and Configuration management systems.

4. Knowledge and expericne seting up and maintaining CI/CD platforms to manage your IaC solutions.

5. Assist with on-call needs for critical outages as part of a scheduled rotation.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

2. 4+ years experience administering Kubernetes clusters. OpenShift preferred.

3. 8+ years experience with scripting/programing/IaC. Terraform, Shell, Python, SaltStack, Ruby, Puppet or equivelants.

4. 8+ years cloud computing experience. AWS preferred.

5. 8+ years of experience working in development or Linux sys admin role with in-depth knowledge of shell/Python programing, Networking and Storage systems.

6. Effective communication skills with a commitment to self-directed learning.

7. The ability to research, recommend, implement and maintain new or complex technologies.

8. Proven capacity and initiative to be a technical lead on projects seeing them through to successful completion.
