Responsibilities

The Payroll/Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the accounts payable system, computer system, and compiling payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties.

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Computer knowledge includes spreadsheets, word processing, and payroll systems.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and interpret invoices, accounts payable documents and payroll records.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, staff and regulatory agencies or members of the community.
  • Ability to communicate on an effective level with physicians, and staff from a variety of disciplines.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out details by uninvolved written or oral instruction. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
