Job Description
The Clinical Laboratory Consultant (laboratory technical consultant) is a licensed healthcare professional with extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures and regulations. The position provides expert advice and guidance to healthcare facilities, primarily focusing on ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory testing, proper test ordering, and accurate interpretation of results for patient diagnosis and treatment, while adhering to all relevant regulatory standards. The position's responsibilities may include on-site inspections, reviewing quality control practices, training staff, and recommending improvements to laboratory operations. Job Functions:
Education: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences, medical technology, or related field required. Licenses and Certification: Clinical Laboratory Scientist License and Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License required. Certified Laboratory Consultant by American Medical Technologists, preferred.
