Overview
APRN Cardiology Location: Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. HVC/Angioplasty Suite Schedule: Monday-Friday; 10-hour days, usually from 7 AM to 5 PM, with some variability in start and end times. No weekends or call. Seeking someone with flexible availability to cover leave and PTO as needed, with no set days. EMR: Epic EducationEducational preparation at the Master's Level of nursing. Graduation from an accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner program required. Additionally, holds a BSN degree from an accredited institution. Experience1-3 years of clinical experience related to the specialty of the practice is preferred. APRNs, PAs, CRNAs, and CNMs are required to be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process. Evidence of current competence to practice as an APRN, PA, CRNA, or CNM via appropriate reference letters from physicians and other practitioners must be obtained during the Medical Staff appointment process to be eligible. LicensureCertified as APRN by the Nursing Certification Board or American Nurses Credentialing Center. Must hold a valid state RN and APRN license. May hold a State Independent Practice license if qualified. Active CBLS, ACLS, and DEA licenses required. Special Skills
