As a Field Service Representative (FSR) working with the Water Technologies and Solutions (WTS) team, youwill safelyprovide commissioning and aftermarket support to a diverse group of industrialand municipalcustomers primarily focused on our Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) product line. Daily responsibilities will include:
- Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
- Monitor equipment performance and operation
- Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentation
- Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, process and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardware.
- Perform installation & maintenance activities on various EDR configurations
- Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system
- Provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visits
- Comply with company and customer safety guidelines and requirements
Please note:This role can be based out of anywhere in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Arkansas. The chosen candidate will support industrial and municipal customers across North America, so it would be ideal to live within 1-2 hours of an airport, but not a requirement. Qualifications
What will you bring to the table:
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls or programming and/or water treatment equipment including ultrafiltration and/or membrane bioreactors preferred but not required
- Working experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred
- Ability to travel throughoutNorth America without restrictions
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet all customer site requirements
