Transaction Banking (TxB) aims to build innovative solutions to traditional banking activities and our solutions specialist bring those solutions to life through their work with our clients, engineers and product specialists. We look for people that are able to work with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels - from concept design all the way to complex technical integration and product implementation. Product Solutions play a critical role in delivering a differentiated customer experience and they become trusted advisors to our clients. We look for a combination of technical expertise combined with curiosity and deep understanding of financial products

THE ROLE

This is a leadership role working closely with our product, engineering, and sales teams and interacting directly with clients. We are looking for a solution specialist with deep subject matter expertise in the transaction banking business and strong technical skills. The work starts with designing an end to end solution that addresses our clients' needs by leveraging our capabilities. The role requires a good understanding of the transaction banking business, our platform and the clients' systems. It also requires excellent oral and written communication and the ability to convey complex solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. We expect the successful candidate to become a trusted advisor to clients and establish strong partnerships with engineering, product, and sales peers.

As a member of the Product Solutions team, the candidate will work closely with our sales organization to support them through the sales cycle. Along with a good knowledge of our products, understanding the challenges that clients face and the alternatives available for corporates through their ERP/TMS platforms are critical to pitch packaged client-tailored global solutions. In addition, the role requires insight into industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify product differentiators and help position TxB on the forefront of an unique client experience.

In close collaboration with our Client Implementation team, the successful candidate will lead post-sale activities by becoming the main contact for complex integrations to ensure the smooth execution of client onboarding. This requires strong technical skills to advice clients on connectivity, data exchange protocols, and to troubleshoot issues in partnership with internal product and engineering teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Manage multiple projects and clients at the same time, ability to prioritize efficiently.
  • Design end to end solutions for clients looking to leverage transaction banking products.
  • Work closely with sales teams and clients to design tailored solution based on the client needs, participate on client presentations, white-boarding sessions and solutioning workshops.
  • Deliver end-to-end product demos and support prospect clients to evaluate our banking services.
  • Provide product and sales organizations with industry insights to develop leading client-centric products and features.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with global cross functional teams to build customer-centric solutions.
  • Establish strong cross-divisional partnerships.
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about transaction banking, market trends and technology.
  • Candidates must have exceptional ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions.
  • Candidate are expected to be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment.
  • Ability to drive revenue opportunities for TxB products across client base as well as client strategy.
  • Contribute to business marketing and communication strategy and planning.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR



  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant professional experience in banking services as a product manager, product solutions specialist, sales engineer, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Business or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience with digital channels (e.g., host-host, API, SWIFT) and working knowledge of key ERP and TMS functions.
  • Technical expertise of ISO 20022 and SWIFT standards across payments and cash management domains.
  • Strong executive management presentation skills, including ability to pitch at the CFO level, and strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to generate ideas, identify new business, and articulate customer needs and turn requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Understanding of software architecture and Agile operating models.
  • Strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and cross-functional partners
  • Energetic, self-directed, self-motivated, and team oriented


Other Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Payments systems (understanding of the various payment networks)
