Clark Nexsen seeks to hire a Mechanical Engineering Student on a part-time basis during the Spring 2025 academic semester. A Mechanical Engineering Student will perform special project assignments and participate in project design and documentation. Our mechanical department specializes in the design and analysis of high-performance heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and energy efficiency measures for the built environment. General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Education, Technology, and Experience Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an ABET accredited program and set to graduate in May 2024 in one of the following programs:
Applicant should be able to effectively utilize basic Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Familiarity with any of the following software is highly desirable:
One previous architectural or engineering internship or similar relevant work experience is preferred. Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Workplace Flexibility We have selected two as common days in the office to nurture collaboration and innovation and to support learning and growth through engagement with colleagues. We are asking everyone to be present on Mondays and Thursdays, with a required third day that will provide additional flexibility and be set established between you and your supervisor (with consideration given to your project team members and clients). Physical Requirements Work is sedentary and often performed in an office setting. Work area is lighted, heated, and ventilated.
