Job Summary:

The Program Director, Marketing, Research, Foundation, and Joint Ventures will be responsible for leading and managing strategic initiatives across these areas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role serves as a liaison between operational teams and these strategic areas, working to build a comprehensive roadmap that enables efficient resource planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, technology integration, and cross-functional collaboration. They will work closely with Marketing and Research teams to drive initiatives that enhance engagement, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, they will oversee Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Joint Ventures (JVs), ensuring seamless integration and the realization of strategic value.

This role requires a deep understanding of business operations, technology landscapes, and M&A processes. The candidate should have a proven track record of leading complex projects, fostering collaboration across departments, and delivering measurable outcomes. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, application development, and information security is essential. The leader will be involved both pre-close and post-close to support successful execution and long-term impact.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance organizational capabilities across Marketing, Research, Foundation, and Joint Ventures, ensuring alignment with system-wide objectives.
  • Strategy Development: Formulate and execute technology integration strategies that support Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Joint Ventures (JVs), ensuring seamless operational alignment.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive technical and operational due diligence assessments of target entities, identifying potential synergies, risks, and integration challenges.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between operational teams and Marketing, Research, Foundation, and JV stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational objectives.
  • Integration Planning: Develop and oversee technology integration roadmaps, including resource planning, timeline management, and risk mitigation strategies to facilitate seamless transitions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead high-performing project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Technology and Process Assessment: Evaluate existing and prospective technology systems, platforms, and data infrastructures for compatibility, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, providing data-driven insights to senior leadership.
  • Market and Industry Research: Stay informed about emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices to guide decision-making and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Cost and Resource Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to optimize costs and resource allocation, ensuring sustainable value creation through operational efficiencies.
  • Risk Management: Proactively assess and mitigate risks associated with technology integration, data security, and operational transitions within M&A and JV activities.
  • Post-Merger Operational Support: Provide ongoing strategic guidance to ensure the stability and effectiveness of integrated systems and processes post-merger.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, or a relevant related field. (Master's degree preferred)
  • Certification: PSM, PSPO, PSD, or PAL (preferred)
  • Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in technology innovation, enterprise-wide application or systems in a healthcare setting or relevant related industries.
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience as defined as essential to the role.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical skills
  • A lean towards curiosity, out of the box thinking and innovative
  • Ability to manage multiple complex M&A, JV integrations with efficiency
  • Significant domain knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, plan and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Strong personal and ethical accountability
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking for problem solving / issue resolution
  • Strong analytics experience with big data, next-generation technologies, data science, and machine learning.
