Python Developer

Are you a passionate Python Developer looking to work on cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, Agile environment? We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Python Developer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of high-impact applications. In this role, you'll work with modern cloud technologies, microservices, and containerized applications to build scalable solutions that align with our architectural and operational goals.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Chantilly, VA, offering the chance to collaborate with top engineers and contribute to mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Scrum methodology to plan and execute tasks aligned with the project's Program Increment strategy.
• Develop software using Python and shell scripting to interact with APIs, databases, and external services.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure within AWS C2S using services such as Managed OpenSearch, EMR, EC2, and AWS Lambda.
• Implement microservices and container orchestration using Kubernetes for efficient application deployment.
• Collaborate with ISSM and networking teams to ensure secure and efficient data routing and access.
• Write and deploy Python/Java code using Jenkins and GitHub, incorporating unit testing, code reviews, and best practices for quality assurance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Python development experience in software/application development.
• Full-time on-site position in Chantilly, VA with core hours from 9 AM - 3 PM.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Linux OS.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub.
• Experience building and running containerized applications using Docker and Helm.
• Knowledge of big data search tools, such as Airflow, PySpark, Trino, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, etc.
