16 Position Summary
The Digital Community Manager communicates effectively and creates interest, both internally and externally, through our current and future digital and online channels. The position plays a key role in brand standards, program awareness, event coverage, education, and customer acquisition strategies and plans for CPS Energy's products and services through social media platforms, digital remote meetings and email. The position provides input into development of marketing and communications strategies and plans targeting residential, small business, large commercial and industrial customers. This position will participate in developing the strategies and plans to enhance and strengthen the CPS Energy brand in the greater San Antonio area, regionally, and nationally. The position will be responsible for community management of social media channels, along with collaboration and coordination with PR, communication team members, internal operations, product teams, as well as external stakeholders, agencies, consultants, and community organizations. This position is responsible for creating and managing the online voice/persona of CPS Energy, while aligning all company communications, PR, social media, and marketing content to create a strong brand identity. As the first point of contact for online subscribers and followers of our brand, this position will be responsible for developing an intimate relationship with our community and customers. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Possess a valid driver's license with a history of a safe driving record in accordance with CPS Energy's policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
Demonstrate well-developed written and verbal communications skills.
Demonstrate well-developed analytical abilities.
Exceptional in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling.
Experience with crisis and/or emergency communications.
Competent in design apps and software including Adobe Creative Cloud.
Extensive knowledge of functionality, scheduling, reporting, and analyzing for social media platforms to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, SmugMug, Pinterest, Podcasting and new channels.
Considerable professional experience with online social media channels.
Ability to create content (text, copy graphics, video) in a fast pace digital space, both desktop and mobile.
Ability to achieve results; multi-task, prioritize and work in a flexible, highly collaborative, employee-empowering work environment.
Ability to effectively manage time and complete projects and tasks within tight deadlines and on short notice.
Ability to monitor and track project deliverables and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.
Ability to present reports defining project progress, obstacles, and solutions.
Effectively communicate issues/obstacles and recommend strategies and tactics to implement change.
Ability to implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs and assess results. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or related field from an accredited university OR relevant work experience can be substituted in lieu of degree Required Certifications Working Environment

Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events. Physical Demands
