Assistant Plant Superintendent
Overview: Our client is a steel service center located in Readington / Somerville, NJ. Since our inception in 1963, we have built a reputation for Quality and Service. We are currently looking for an Assistant Plant Superintendent who will be responsible for our production operations. Qualifications: - High School diploma, some college work preferable - 2 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment - Proven organizational and leadership skills - Excellent communication skills - Microsoft Office skills *A MUST - primarily excel - Must be able to work independently - Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to understand and consistently follow company procedures and policies Responsibilities: - Prepare work schedules and organize workflow - Train and supervise employees, ensuring the safe use of equipment to produce product to our quality specifications - Track orders and update reports - Review and process completed production orders - Maintain daily and monthly reports - Other duties as assigned Our client offers Company offers: - A comprehensive benefits package including Holiday Pay, Medical with only a 20% contribution, Dental and vision at no cost and Paid Vacation. | |
