The Manager of Completions Engineering is responsible for leading the comprehensive planning, supervision, and documentation of a diverse range of well operations, encompassing new well completions, recompletions, and associated tasks. The role oversees the implementation of plans developed by engineering staff, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to optimize operational efficiency and performance outcomes. The role oversees the management of direct reports, company personnel, and consultants, effectively allocating resources and coordinating activities to accomplish required work within established timelines and budgets and will demonstrate technical excellence in completions while fostering strong integrated collaboration with other disciplines and teams.

* Provides strategic leadership and direction for completion design and operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
* Oversees and drives technical studies and technical work including completion design, diagnostic planning and execution, and hydraulic fracture modeling and diagnostics for optimizing reservoir development.
* Works closely with operations groups including Drilling and Production as well as asset teams including Geosciences and Reservoir for resource planning and optimization.
* Oversees the implementation of plans developed by engineering staff, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to optimize operational efficiency and performance outcomes.
* Oversees the management of direct reports, company personnel, and consultants, effectively allocating resources and coordinating activities to accomplish required work within established timelines and budgets.
* Reviews, processes, and approves invoices within the area of responsibility, ensuring accuracy, compliance with contractual agreements, and timely payment to vendors and service providers.
* Maintains regulatory compliance through close coordination with the Production Foreman and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
* Fosters effective communication channels between field staff and engineering teams, facilitating clear understanding and alignment on activity plans prior to implementation to enhance operational cohesion and success.
* Oversees supervisors, guides experienced specialists, and drives continuous improvement, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and effective communication within the leadership team.
* Communicates departmental activities, articulates strategic goals, and creates an empowering environment for team achievement, contributing to career growth and collaborative success.
* Fosters leadership excellence, drives innovation, and ensures seamless coordination across disciplines, emphasizing continuous improvement within the team.
* Manages talent across the team, while driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and ensuring effective operational management.

Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical) or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.

Experience:
* 12+ years of relevant experience with 3-5 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience, preferably in areas such as Well Completion, Well Operations, or a related field.
