Summary

U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for an assembler to produce assembled electronic and cable assemblies and subassemblies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Read work orders, follow production drawings and work instructions, and/or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Assemble smart electronic components and cable assembles using small hand tools.
• Crimp, solder, cement, press or similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Perform assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, stripping, curing, and/or stamping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience is not required, but a +; willing to train the right person.
• Visual acuity and able to distinguish colors
• Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong manual dexterity and gripping with both hands.
• Attention to detail, well organized, and consistent.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks.
• Sustained dependable attendance.
