Mid-Level Aviation Technician

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Mid-Level Aviation Technician to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec has a need for a Mid-Level Aviation Technician to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering, and Integration (S3I) Directorate Aviation System Integration Lab (AVNSIL) programs located in Huntsville, AL. The primary work focus will involve building, maintaining, updating, and testing Army Aviation platforms.

Duties:

Read schematics

• Build and run cables

• Incorporate Modification Work Orders (MWOs)

• Provide technical design support

• Prepare technical reports

• Assist in resolving product development issues

• Perform the testing necessary to ensure the test platforms function properly

• Support system and software testing

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with building electrical cables and have good verbal and written skills

• Working in a team environment while completing tasks in an unsupervised and self-directed fashion

• Effectively communicate with team and customers

• Must be willing and eager to learn from peers and senior technicians in order to learn new roles and responsibilities

• Must be hard-working, accountable, and present themselves professionally in front of customers and peers

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• AA Degree in related discipline and nine (9) years related experience; OR High School diploma and eleven (11) years related experience

Desired Skills:

• Visio Drawing experience is a plus
