The Data Verification Specialist - is responsible for data entry, data verification and assisting email tasks to support the bill review department.
Fully Remote after 2 week onsite training period. *Must be commutable to Glen Allen, VA. * ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for validation of incoming data to the Bill Review system * Responsible for identifying and applying customer-specific rules and processes * Requires continual and consistent communication with supervisor regarding status of Data Verification queues and workload * Assist the bill review department with all clerical duties as assigned * Comply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program ("IIPP") * Additional duties as required KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: * Proven experience working in a high-volume order entry / data entry business office environment * Experience within the insurance or medical industry is ideal. * Strong computer/data entry skills. 10,000 KPH typing speed * Ability to work on several concurrent tasks and prioritize workload with minimal direction * Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems * Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft applications * High school diploma or equivalent is required. Details: * Fully remote after 2-week onsite training period. Equipment is provided * Pay: $15/hr. * Pay cycle - weekly | Medical, Dental & Vision benefits offered. * Training Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8-hour shift between 8:00am - 5:00pm EST. **Training will be fully onsite for the first 2 weeks. Must be commutable to Glen Allen, VA * Full time schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 330pm or 8:00am - 430pm EST. Flexibility to choose either shift as long as it's consistent. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
