The opportunity:
The Sr. Developer improves and implements technical solutions. This role leverages technical expertise in database applications C# ETL processes and automation in support of internal and external customer's data exchange and integration needs. How you will contribute: - Develop and Maintain Applications: Design develop and maintain high-quality C# applications ensuring robust and scalable solutions. - Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Code Review and Testing: Participate in code reviews write unit tests and ensure code quality and performance. - Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve software defects and issues ensuring smooth operation of applications. - Implement Best Practices: Follow and promote best practices in software development including coding standards code reviews and agile methodologies. - Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed software. - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and continuously improve skills and knowledge. - Other duties as needed or required. What you will bring with you: - BS degree in Business Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience - 5 years as a C# developer in support of application software - Experience with SQL Server Transact SQL and SQL Server Integration Services SSIS and highly desirable - Informatica and XML. - Expert knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols SQL Server Structured Query Language - Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines balancing multiple priorities and ensuring quality standards. - Excellent analytical problem-solving and innovative thinking skills. - Experience with encounters or claims business analysis experience in healthcare preferably managed care or Medicaid is a plus. - Experience with knowledge of dental or medical insurance claims processing is a plus including: o Hands on experience with HIPAA X12 EDI transaction formats including: 277 835 837 997 999 TA1 o Familiarity with appropriate handling of PHI data - Required to attend additional training as requested/deemed necessary *Skills* etl, sql, ssis *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * SSIS/SQL server experience * Integrating from SQL server to ETL/EDI process * Experience with directing, mentoring, and assisting more junior developers * Full stack development * ETL is for function of incoming/outgoing EDI files * EDI experience is a plus * Nice to have healthcare experience *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $84.00/hr.
