Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic belts, is currently seeking a Project Manager in the Equipment Manufacturing Engineering Group (EMEG) based at our Baltimore, Maryland facility. This person is a proactive, self-managed individual with experience in project management and change management in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
*Manage warehouse and assembly operations improvement projects through all project phases.
*Interface with other teams and project managers to coordinate resources and incorporate EMEG projects into larger strategic projects and product launches.
*Develops, monitors and controls a detailed scope of work and schedule.
*Plans, directs and manages project related tasks.
*Work with assembly operations and engineering to determine project requirements.
*Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and communicate information at the right time, to the right audience
*Conduct risk assessment for each project opportunity to help prioritize work and mitigate risks for work that is activated.
*Coordinates across multiple departments with input from other functional managers.
*Partner with internal engineering teams and external integration partners to deliver quality solutions on time.
*Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
*Actively participate in technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
*Oversee technical aspects of projects being completed by external integration partners.
*Manage the EMEG project funnel and prioritize appropriately.
*Has mastered commonly used project management concepts, practices, and procedures
*Self-driven and motivated- working to implement and improve processes.
Skills Needed to be Successful:
*Ability to navigate within complex topics - understand the big picture while also being able to dive into the details
*Ability to manage projects with large development scope including many interdependencies
*Ability to turn very loose front-end problem or opportunity statements into actionable requirements
*Outstanding communication skills-
*Report to multiple different stakeholder groups- understanding of who needs to know what when.
*Ability to tailor communication and task management depending on development stage and team members involved

*Technically minded- ability to understand and communicate many different technical concepts related to both mechanical and electrical design. Not required to be an engineer or technical SME but needs to be able to grasp and communicate technical topics with a general understanding.
*Creative problem solver- ability to remove obstacles and resolve issues for team members
*Project Management Process Knowledge - willingness to follow processes that are in place and work to improve processes as needed
*Adaptable- able to pivot quickly when new information is learned
Requirements:
*BS or BA from an accredited institution
*5+ years of Project Management
*High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to articulate mechanical concepts
*Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with engineering groups, technicians, and management
*Proficient with MS Project and MS Office Suite
*Experience with assembly processes and a production environment
*Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
*Must be a self-managed individual who is a team player
*Able to travel minimally (10%), work weekends, holidays, and overtime when required by specific projects
Preferred Qualifications:
*PMP certification
*BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
*Previous experience with internal improvement projects and/or conveyance and sortation systems through all stages of the project lifecycle
*Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma and/or Statistical Process Control
*Experience leading Kaizen and 5S projects
*Experience with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD preferred), PLM software (Windchill preferred) and/or ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
*Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology
*Experience with automation integration and/or inventory management

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. Therefore, we encourage all qualified applicants to apply regardless of their salary expectations.

The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans

Salary Range $60,700 to 164,900.
