You are a member of the 24/7 operation/maintenance of the Bloomington IL Super Headend Office. Shift work and work over the weekend will be required. This position will primarily work the overnight shift. Shifts may change in the future and rotations may be implemented. You will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance and operation of the Video Network Operations systems within the Verizon Super Headend Office. This includes interpreting and correlating video service outages which relate to the degradation or failure of video transports and equipment systems. You will assess conditions to identify best practices for fault isolation and also perform trouble resolution. You will interact and work in conjunction with other Verizon Operations and Engineering groups as well as vendors to ensure timely resolution of network-impacting troubles. Additional responsibilities include interpreting schematics associated with equipment interconnects and signal paths within the Super Headend Office.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $84,000.00 and $157,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. |
