The Premium Billing Specialist manages their customer groups and provides customer service to members and employer groups, which includes but is not limited to: taking member and group contact phone calls in a dedicated queue, updating eligibility in the billing system, preparing and sending monthly reports, as well as responding to emails daily. This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7 am - 5 pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Employees are required to work 2-3 days onsite and 2-3 days from home. We offer 4 - 6 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm CST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. If you are within commutable distance to the office at any UHG Site in Wausau, WI you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges. *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
