Apply today to be a Finishing Assistant with one of the most innovative and trusted packaging companies in the world. Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Finishing Assistant for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX. This will be a 3/2 rotating night shift schedule from 7pm-7am: Sun/Wed/Thurs; Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat.

Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems, make adjustments as needed.

  • Maintain a clean/safe work environment and accomplish accurate computer entries.

  • Keep up with all needed supplies for Robots.

  • Must perform these tasks in a manner which is safe, productive and which contributes to the goals of the production department

Minimum Requirements:

  • Internal Candidates: Must be in good standing (No Discipline above Step 1 within 90 days at time of application)

  • Must be able to lift up to 81.5 pounds with frequent weights of 42 pounds.

  • Must be able to work while bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching.

  • Must be able to read and apply information provided in a written manner or via computer.

  • Must be able to use small hand tools to make fine adjustments.

  • Possess general mechanical knowledge.

  • Forklift experience preferred.
