Enterprise Architect-Data Domain

Come Find Your Spark at Quartz! The Enterprise Architect - Data Domain will lead and design Quartz's data architecture to ensure it aligns with business goals and objectives. This position will lead and shape the organization's data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving data-centric initiatives, across the enterprise. This role will be a key influencer and thought leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and optimize data management processes, implement best practices, and foster a data-driven culture.

• Starting salary based upon skills and experience: $126,800 - $158,600 plus robust benefits package

• Data Strategy & Architecture
  • Maintain the data strategy documentation.
  • Influence data teams to optimize data management processes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain the organization's enterprise data architecture.
  • Ensure that data architecture aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement information management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure processes are effective, efficient, and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Create and maintain data models and database designs that meet business requirements.
  • Develop strategies for data migration, integration, and data warehousing to ensure smooth data flow.

• Snowflake & Cloud Data Platform Expertise:
  • Embedded analytics and architecture
  • Serverless data stack architecture
  • Streaming data stack architecture
  • Machine learning and data science architecture
  • Application health and security analytics architecture
  • Customer 360 reference architecture
  • Build applications on a modern cloud data platform using Snowflake

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 8+ years of data architecture experience
• OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 11+ years of data architecture experience
• OR High School equivalency with 14+ years of data architecture experience
• Expertise in data modeling, database design principles, data management, data warehousing principles, and information architecture
• Demonstrated advanced expertise in relational database architecture and design
• Advanced knowledge of data platform administration concepts
• Familiarity with data analytics and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI
• Advanced knowledge for Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, performance management, and monitoring
• Advanced knowledge of SAS analytic tools, administration, data structures, and programming technologies
• Advanced knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery concepts related to 24/7 data management platform operations
• Proficient in administration and management of both cloud and hosted Windows and Unix computing environments
• Advanced knowledge of Unix and Windows scripting (Batch, VBScript, PowerShell)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team that facilitates information exchange
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete timely; assist with directing others to ensure timely completion
