THE JOB: The Housekeeping Floor Manager at Aria is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of facilities under your supervision. You will lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, establish and maintain cleaning schedules, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Oversee and maintain efficient operations within the assigned area. Supervise, train, guide, and support all team members in the designated area. Ensure fair and balanced workload distribution among station staff. Conduct daily briefings and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons. Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies, ensuring all tasks are completed properly. Perform daily written guest room inspections in alignment with department standards. Regularly conduct visual inspections of guest rooms and designated public areas. Monitor the productivity of Guest Room Attendants and House Persons, addressing any deficiencies with the Executive Assistant Housekeeper. Provide coaching and corrective action for employees who do not adhere to department policies, while offering ongoing feedback on job performance and guest service.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. 2 years of prior relevant experience in housekeeping or hotel operations. 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Hotel Management. Knowledge with Forbes Standards and maintaining those standards. Previous experience working in a similar Luxury Resort setting. Organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, within established deadlines and attention to detail. Knowledge of REX, LMS, OPERA, HOTSOS, Amadeus, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
