About this Position:

Support mass production design changes, verification and communication of design from through the mass production cycle, meeting targets and enhancing Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale (SEQDCM) characteristics.

Responsibilities include:



  • Support Mass Production design analysis by evaluating drawings and designs for all Mass Production changes, create design change points to communicate changes to other subgroups.
  • Communicate mass production design information to other Assembly team members
  • Support problem analysis with countermeasure development and implementation
  • Support New Model during online New Model builds - Review / analyze data and physical parts for concerns related to fit, quality, safety, etc.; Identify and aid ADC to resolve concerns
  • Updates outsource drawings and application pages when needed for MBPN level two parts, create MI and assign other department approval flows
  • Perform line-side follow-up for part MBPN and set changes
  • Support training team by communicating change points, sharing know-how, and refining process techniques
  • Support production team through associate involvement activities, knowledge transfer of design changes



Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 0-6 years of experience based on education


Required Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or equivalent experience



Desired skills:



  • Independent, conscientious worker that is able to make appropriate decisions toward problem solving
  • Can balance multiple priorities and clearly communicate project status to management and production


Additional Position Factors:



  • Flexible with work hours (shift hours as needed).
  • 5-10Hrs/Week OT as needed
  • Work weekends, off shifts and holidays as activity schedules dictate
  • Travel domestically and internationally
