DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will have a wide range of responsibilities in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the buildings and grounds at Troop J Headquarters. Your duties will include cleaning and restocking restrooms, maintaining the grounds by mowing the lawn and operating equipment, and ensuring walkways are safe and clear of snow and ice. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the outdoor grounds free of litter and debris. This role is vital in creating a safe and hygienic environment for all personnel.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: This position does not offer telework.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
