This is a seasonal part-time position. This position pays $20.00/hour. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Secure premises by patrolling property, inspecting buildings and equipment to ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, members and visitors Monitor Resort property and buildings, and the Community to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of all doors and windows Investigate and report all suspicious activity on Resort property. Monitor heating, cooling, alarm and electrical systems where necessary to protect against water leaks, fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry or trespassing. Maintains relationships with local law enforcement and notifies them of incidents Prepares daily security report Assists with crowd control and parking at large Resort events, when needed Reports any safety or maintenance issues Acts as first line of contact and response during off hours for properties at the Resort Other duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, required Experience: Previous experience in a related field or role, preferred QUALIFACATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be 21+ years of age Must pass background check Ability to lift to 60lbs on a regular basis Strong written and verbal communication skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
