Description Bongards Premium Cheese is seeking a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to be our Cook Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. Job Duties Responsible for the cooking of cheese for loaf and slice lines. Addition of ingredients as specified by the recipe. Monitoring of cheese cook temperature. Notification to cheese grinders as a blender becomes empty. Communication with filler operator and lab technician on cheese quality. Perform sanitation duties and warehouse pile over duties as assigned by supervisor. Must be able to pass forklift training and maintain license. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person. Other requirements High school diploma or equivalents Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills. Must adhere to and follow all GMP's, SOP's, and Safety Guidelines when performing all work. Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. Must demonstrate a commitment of both food and employee safety. Physical capabilities Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to climb ladders occasionally.
