Introduction

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Partner Liaison & Chief Product Owner responsible for delivering a Software Development Environment to engineers developing software at HMI and Brion (Silicon Valley, USA).

The Software Development Environment (DevEnv) consists of components like Source Control systems, CI/CD systems, Build systems, Artifact management systems and VDIs. This environment is mostly cloud based.

The agile transition is ongoing, several Scrum teams are part of a future Agile Release Train (ART).

The CPO role is combined with a role as IT Business Partner Liaison, in essence the local representative of the Global IT Business Partner for this domain. In this role you will be interfacing with key business stakeholders on a diverse set of IT related questions and challenges, building a bridge between them and the IT organization in Veldhoven.

Job Mission
  • Deliver and operate a (global) Software Development Environment for HMI and Brion, creating transparency in delivery and costs.

  • Play an instrumental role in the Agile transition towards an ART.

  • Local representative of the Global IT Business Partner

Roles and Responsibilities

IT Business Partner Liaison:

  • Interact with local key stakeholders on their challenges with the global IT organization

  • Interact with local and remote stakeholders in the IT organization on their contribution to your scope

  • Solving challenges with and building connections between your local and remote stakeholders

Chief Product Owner:
  • Collect and support prioritization of business demands from Brion and HMI for their DevEnv, maximizing the delivered value.

  • Manage the financial performance of IT services delivered and provide financial forecasting and cost transparency.

  • Define the products of the ART, with focus on vision, scope, objectives and interdependencies with other ARTs.

  • Define and maintain the Business IT roadmap for the HMI & Brion DevEnv together with the stakeholders, in alignment with demand and the IT Strategy.

  • Work closely with the business teams, other IT departments and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of software development tooling and services.

  • Act as an empowering leader to enablingthe success of the ART, coach Product Owners and collaborate closely with other CPO's and RTEs.

  • Ensure compliance and security of fit-for-purpose solutions.

Education and Experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science,Informatics, or equivalent experience.

  • Certification in Scaled Agile Framework is a strong plus.

  • ITIL certification is a plus

  • 3+ years of experience as Chief Product Owner and working on tactical/strategic level.

  • 5+ years of experience in the context of software development, strong affiliation with SDLC.

  • 3+ years interacting across time zones with various organization units at the Director level, preferably in a global organization

  • Strong domain knowledge, including software development, cloud cost optimization, compliance and security.

  • Deep/extensive experience in engineering or IT.

  • Experience with SAFe and/or other Agile frameworks and methodologies

  • Influencing without power, organization sensitivity.

  • Strong communicator, good at listening. Has diplomatic skills.

  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders.

  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Command of the Dutch language is a plus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$189,375-315,625

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan.
