Position Summary

We are looking for a Manager, Commerce Creative to join our Commerce Creative team across a leading CPG client. Candidates must have prior experience overseeing commerce creative concepting in an Account Management role, Creative Strategist role, or similar function.

This role is unique as it sits at the intersection of Account Management and Creative Strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving client business problems with creative solutions and understands the relationship of strategy, creative, and media. Your goal is to partner with Strategy in crafting the commerce creative briefs (big and small) by contributing cultural insights and client expertise. You'll have access to a team of Commerce experts across Creative, Media, Strategy, and Business Affairs for support.

This is a cross functional role where the candidate will work closely with Integrated Account Leads, Media, Audience Strategists and Creative Experts.

The right candidate for this role is eager to be at the center of the concepting process and understands how creative drives client business goals. You are a natural collaborator. You'll elevate our strategic approach and creative output, while ensuring the work stays on brief and within brand and retailer guidelines. This candidate has an eye for storytelling and knows how to tell one through the work and via PPTs for clients and stakeholders. You think like a client and are comfortable providing a POV that inspires our team to produce our best work.

You are a self-starter, who can manage multiple work streams with order and attention to detail. This is a highly interactive position with a lot of opportunity for exposure and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of cross functional Commerce experts (Account, Media, Audience Strategy and Creative) to craft an approach to solve client business problems with creative solutions
  • Enforce flawless story flow across all client deliverables such as ensuring creative and strategy are cohesive, deliverable answers brief, and all information is articulated in a digestible way for clients to understand
  • Anticipate potential challenges and work with cross functional team or with senior leadership to solve ahead of client deliverable presentations
  • Elevate our work product by partnering with Integrated Account leadership, Audience Strategy, and Creative to inspire new thinking and approach
  • Dedicate time to consistently furthering your understanding of the Commerce landscape so you can bring a unique and fresh perspective to opportunities - no one on our team ever stops learning
  • Tuned into pop culture and can surface fresh thinking inspired by relevant consumer trends



Desired Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of Commerce Creative best practices
  • Understanding of the media landscape and creative and media work together
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience at a creative agency, client, or similar function with experience in producing creative work
  • Candidate must be an expert communicator and skilled at building cross functional relationships
  • Candidate must have experience successfully managing multiple projects/work streams
  • Knowledge of the CPG industry is a plus but not required

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
