Position summary:

The Senior Analyst, Benefits will play a key role in managing and optimizing the company's benefits programs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a positive employee experience. Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, this role will analyze benefits data, support HRIS administration, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance benefit offerings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, HRIS expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Benefits Strategy



  • Contributes to annual benefits review and planning.
  • Provides input to benefits surveys and leads the analysis of the results.
  • Leads annual auto-enrolment campaign end-to-end from rates validation to successful first payroll run.
  • Leads regular review and analysis of plans financial performance, and provides recommendations as needed.


Ensure compliance



  • Manages compliance audits (non-discrimination testing, etc.) in full autonomy.
  • Drives regulatory filings in partnership with benefits brokers and consultants.


Partner with and manage internal and external stakeholders



  • Drives ongoing relations with benefits vendors to ensure compliance with SLAs and guarantee an optimal employee experience
  • Partners with HRIS team to maintain UKG benefit and auto-enrolment platform up to date.
  • Partners with Payroll to ensure continued accuracy of employee benefits deductions and employer funding of benefits
  • Partners with employee-facing HR team to provide training, coaching and expert guidance on benefits matters


Promote operational excellence



  • Recommends and implements regular operational audits to improve and maintain a high quality of benefits data in UKG
  • Recommends improvement to benefits processes to optimize quality of data, minimize re-work and optimize the employee experience


Education, Experience, and Required Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in human resource, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of US benefits, including Retirement, Medical and ancillary healthcare benefits, risk benefits, voluntary benefits. Knowledge of International benefit programs are a plus.
  • 7+ years of benefits management in a corporate environment, including exposure to multiple states requirements and self-insured plans.
  • Employee benefits brokering and insurance experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret complex benefits data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in HR platforms such as UKG, Workday, or similar systems, with experience managing benefits-related data and processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization) and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and employees on benefits-related matters.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.


Working Conditions:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
