Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, seeks full-time academic nephrologists for its Division of Kidney Diseases & Hypertension in the Department of Medicine.

These non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience, with the possibility of additional incentives if eligible.

The Division of Kidney Diseases and Hypertension at the George Washington University School of Medicine has a long and distinguished history of remarkable achievements in scientific discovery, education, and clinical care of kidney disease. The division is ranked by the US News and World Report, and it has several NIH-funded faculty members.

These positions are expected to begin as early as July 1, 2025.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include providing excellent clinical care, maintaining an active research program, and participating in clinical teaching.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be board certified/eligible in Nephrology and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. A record of academic excellence, as demonstrated by clinical experience, publications, evaluations, and/or references, is required.
Advertised Salary: $240,000.00 to $265,000
