Description
Location: Mt. Sterling, IL Department: Information Technology Reports To: Director of Data & AI Salary Range: $62,113 - $93,169 annually, with bonus opportunity WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create and maintain complex Cognos Analytics assets (65%) - As a business intelligence developer, work with the business to translate problem solving needs into technical requirements. Then build and automate analytical reports and dashboards to help track KPI's, identify areas of opportunity, and overall increase metric visibility for all levels in the organization.

- Provide analytical research for complex process improvement initiatives. (5%) - Occasionally provides deep analytical insight into KPIs for root-cause analysis and to guide/provide suggestions to key decision makers.
- Create and report on leading indicators that impact vital business areas. (10%)
- Analyze Data and provide recommendations where applicable to achieve company and department goals. (5%)
- Support and help administer functions of the Data & AI technology stack - data warehouse, data movement, data quality, and business intelligence. (5%)
- Work with Vendors and consultants as appropriate.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related
- 24 months of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing, encompassing knowledge of core enterprise data warehousing (both technical and business aspects), familiarity with business analytics, and proficiency in developing both ad-hoc and scheduled reports and dashboards for business user consumption.
- 24 months experience in system administration, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of IT system operations for troubleshooting, performance monitoring and improvement, automation, and administration tasks.
- 12 months of experience in effective project management and planning, with a proven track record of gathering requirements, designing solutions, executing project plans while maintaining stakeholder engagement, and delivering results that align with business expectations.
