As the Digital Content Manager, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and evaluate content strategies and messaging, manage resources and staff needed to implement digital content strategies, convert visitors and prospects to customers, and oversee the development and evaluation of digital content. You will also manage new technologies to ensure Boys Town digital products remain cutting edge. Consult, develop, and implement content strategies to support the organization's objectives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Develops strategies for advertising and digital content campaigns to improve conversion rates.
  • Strategizes and coordinates online campaigns.
  • Oversees the management of the digital content calendar.
  • Develops strategies and dynamic content for distribution through online engagement channels, ensuring consistency of messages across platforms and channels.
  • Conducts audits, develops, and analyzes reports to evaluate campaign results and web performance; leverages this data to drive decision-making.
  • Plans and manages online and digital experiences of key target audiences, identifies opportunities to enhance engagement, and evaluates outcomes.
  • Strategizes and coordinates branded inventive digital campaigns, which could include email, text, display and social, around key program initiatives; oversees the translation of complex campaigns into digital content.
  • Create and optimize automated marketing campaigns, including email drip campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, and triggered responses.
  • Employs and ensures electronic best practices and applies a high-level of creativity in the design and production of emails.
  • Prepares all email assets (graphics and written content) according to brand style and legal guidelines, and proofs for quality assurance.
Manages the development and implementation of online conversion strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness and enhance user experience.
  • Provides the expertise and serves as key point to analyze and understand customer behavior.
  • Develops strategizes, analyzes, and optimizes campaigns and online traffic to facilitate conversions; serves as data analyst for web and web traffic.
  • Identifies custom segmentation opportunities on the website, through email, and with digital engagers to improve overall user experience leading to increased conversions.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize performance.
  • Utilize dynamic content and personalization to enhance engagement.
Manages technology, including selecting and implementing technologies, developing strategies, and designing downloadable content.
  • Manages content strategy for external-facing department websites to optimize digital engagement and online conversions, monitors website and digital campaign performance, and updates or enhances as needed.
  • Researches and learns alternative and emerging technology in the areas of digital and website implementation and management; stays current with industry developments, standards and best practices.
  • Consults and collaborates with other Boys Town departments when necessary to ensure compliance with Boys Town policies, branding, and technology guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of graphic design, layout and website development procedures and best practices; skills in Microsoft Office, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Canva.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to develop strategies, implementation plans, and measurement objectives for digital campaigns.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate persuasive marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to utilize web marketing and social media to promote organizational goals.
  • Ability to use video capture, editing, and optimization for web deployment.
  • Ability to manage user access to proprietary content or curriculum in an online environment.
  • High level of professionalism, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into understandable conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and with external business contacts in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to build and sustain successful, professional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in marketing strategy and analytics and developing and maintaining websites and content, including graphic design and layout required.
  • Available to travel and to work evenings and weekends as needed required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.
