PROJECT MANAGER

***Position is HYBRID in Norco, CA. Some onsite work is required***

Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in government contracting to oversee project execution, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with government requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget

• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams

• Oversee project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and compliance tracking

• Facilitate Agile and traditional project management methodologies as needed

• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving roadblocks to maintain momentum

• Conduct business process analysis to enhance efficiency and improve project outcomes

• Ensure compliance with government contract requirements and security protocol

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing projects in a government or defense contracting environment

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, Waterfall)

• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement

• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, management, or a related field

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification

• Experience managing DoD or federal government contracts

• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and budget tracking

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, RMF, or CMMC

• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
