We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assembler! The role of the Assembler (Temporary) is to assemble, test and package quality products in the Valve, Manifold, Small Part Assembly, and Packaging departments.

Key Job Responsibilities:



  • Perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small and medium sized units involving a considerable amount of parts.
  • Recognize defective parts.
  • Work from drawings, specifications and work instructions using required measuring instruments and gauging devices.
  • Perform final assemblies, inspect and test.
  • Perform fitting and aligning activities to ensure free action of movable parts and operating requirements.
  • Set-up and run machines in assembly departments.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work environment following the 5S standards.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.
  • Use computer to enter labor hours.


Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:



  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing and business tools, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written business correspondence.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
  • Ability to learn new concepts with general supervision.
  • Ability to manage commitments.
  • Ability to present an idea to a group.
  • Ability to interpret operating instructions or blueprints for assembly and wiring of product.
  • Ability to display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn to set-up, run and troubleshoot new equipment introduced to department.
  • Ability to read policies, procedures, picklists, routings and work instructions.
  • Ability to count by hand or scale.


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma
  • Assembly experience preferred but not required
