Senior Survey Project Manager - RPLS - Richardson, TX
Halff has an immediate opening for a Senior Survey Project Manager who is a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) for our Richardson, TX office with great potential for career growth within the Halff organization. Minimum Requirements:
- Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor License (RPLS)
- 5 years of demonstrated management experience as a Licensed Surveyor
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, land survey projects, including overseeing field crews and multiple registered surveyors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external clients for the purpose of being concise, clear and conveying details for project deliverables in an efficient and timely manner.
- Provide updates to all parties involved related to progress within a project or initiative, keeping them informed with pertinent information, relevant details and key decisions through various communication channels, fostering transparency and establishing trust throughout the process.
- Ability to work autonomously, mentor and professionally develop Survey Technicians and junior project managers.
- Exceptional ability and practical experience to successfully manage projects, including developing scope of work, schedule and fee while adhering to established guidelines.
- Oversee project's financial health, report issues, and come up with solutions.
- Provide support to business development efforts to guide and lead each phase of the process in preparation of proposals, while emphasizing quality outcomes.
- Exceptional ability to lead by example in a professional, productive and established work environment.
- Assist with the operational flow for a survey team to collaboratively prioritize projects of all sizes and levels of complexities.
- Technical understanding and proficiencies with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D or Bentley Open roads
Senior Survey Project Manager - RPLS Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with TxDOT/transportation, Public Works, Energy, and/or Land Development projects is ideal.
- Hands-on experience with various municipalities in the Dallas/Richardson, as well as the Greater DFW, area is a plus.
